About The Club

The Northern Districts Rottweiler Club of NSW, Rottweiler Club of NSW, Northern Districts Rottweiler Club, Rottweiler Club, Rottweiler, NDRC

The club was formed in 1987 for the benefit of Rottweiler breeders and exhibitors. Whilst the club is based in the Newcastle region it now boasts members from all over Australia which include breeders, exhibitors and pet owners.

All members who are breeders must breed to the Clubs Rules and Code of Ethics which in turn adhere to the National Councils requirements. In this way the Club and its members are ensuring the minimisation of hereditary diseases and therefore happy, healthy puppies with sound temperaments.

Whilst the main events the Club conducts are the two specialty shows at Easter and in mid September each year, run over three and two days respectively; it also runs breed surveys in which the temperament of individual dogs are tested, these are conducted in conjunction of at least one of the shows each year; obedience training every Monday night for all Rotties and their owners; along with fun days and social events.

If you would like some more information about the Club please feel free to contact the Club Secretary as listed in the contact us tab. If you would like to join the club feel free to download a membership form from the home page.
